FabLab Belfast were exhibiting brought a sample of their digital fabrication equipment to the Odyssey as part of Sentius Young innovators event 2013.  This event saw hundred of school students and teachers visit the FabLab lab stand to see a homemade Arduino ‘Pong’ game complete with laser cut potentiometer control pads and a desktop 3D printer in action. 

FabLab Belfast | Nerve Centre are currently championing STEM to STEAM bringing arts and creativity to heart of learning for STEM subjects, using digital creativity to engage learners from both schools and communities.  FabLab have developed curriculum linked activities that can be facilitated in FabLab or as outreach projects with schools and will delivering these in fun, hands on practical way.
