Participants in the bodhran making workshop will have the opportunity to make their own bodhran with a leading professional maker. The workshop will combine traditional craft skills with digital fabrication techniques in the creation of a bodhran. Each participant will leave with a working playable traditional irish drum. Rohan Young, who is a professional bodhran maker will guide the participants in making their own drum showing how these traditional skills are now encompassing new and innovative technologies. A great course for parents and children together.
